Confidentiality, anonymity and data protectionAnonymous answers. An email, if you give one, is kept apart. You can stop at any point.
Your survey responses are collected anonymously. No identifying information is captured as part of the core questionnaire unless you choose, separately and optionally, to provide your email address in the final section to be contacted by PINM.
If you choose to provide your email address, it will be stored entirely separately from your anonymous survey responses and will never be linked back to your answers. It will be used only for the purpose you indicate, such as follow-up discussion or notification when results are published.
PINM (Professional Institute for Nurses & Midwives CLG) is the data controller for this survey. Data is processed on the lawful basis of consent under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will be retained only for as long as is necessary to complete the analysis and publication of the resulting Workforce Report, after which identifying contact data will be deleted. Aggregated, anonymised survey data may be retained for longer-term comparative and longitudinal research.
Participation is entirely voluntary. You may decline to answer any individual question, and you may close this survey at any point before final submission without your responses being recorded.
