These terms apply when you use pinm.ie and when you become a member of PINM. Please read them before you join. By ticking "I agree to the terms" when you join, you accept them.

pinm.ie is run by PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE FOR NURSES AND MIDWIVES (PINM) COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE, trading as PINM, registered in Ireland with number 818484. Our registered address is 39 Old Muirhevna, Dublin Road, Dundalk, Louth, A91 D1W4, Ireland. You can contact us at hello@pinm.ie.

PINM is not registered for VAT, so our prices do not include VAT.

Membership is open to nurses and midwives at every stage of their career. This includes students, retired nurses and midwives, and Irish-trained nurses and midwives working abroad.

Please give us true and up-to-date details when you join. If something changes, such as your email address, tell us at hello@pinm.ie.

Price. Membership costs €5 a month or €50 a year. You choose monthly or yearly when you join. A yearly membership is paid in full at the start of each year.

Renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and we take the next payment from the card you used, until you cancel. If you pay yearly, we email you before your membership renews.

Switching plans. You can switch between monthly and yearly from your billing page. If you move from monthly to yearly, you pay for the year straight away, less the unused part of your current month. If you move from yearly to monthly, the unused part of your year is kept as credit on your account and used for your next payments.

How to cancel. You can cancel at any time. Sign in to your member area at pinm.ie, choose to manage your billing, and cancel there. If you cannot sign in, email hello@pinm.ie and we will cancel for you. We email you to confirm.

What happens when you cancel. Cancelling stops your next renewal. You stay a member until the end of the month or year you have already paid for, and then your membership ends. We do not take any more payments.

Your 14-day right to cancel. When you first join, you can change your mind within 14 days of joining and get a full refund. Email hello@pinm.ie within those 14 days to ask.

Refunds after 14 days. Apart from the 14-day right above, we do not give refunds for a month or year that has already started, even if you cancel part of the way through. Your membership simply runs to the end of the period you paid for.

How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few days to show it.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we email you so you can update your card from your billing page. If the payment still cannot be taken, your membership will end.

Price changes. We may change the membership price. If we do, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before then.

Payments are taken securely by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's payment page, not on pinm.ie.

You sign in with a one-time link we email to you. Keep access to your email account safe, because anyone who can read your email could use the link. Do not share your sign-in links.

Registering for a PINM event, such as the National Launch Conference, is free unless we say otherwise. Places may be limited. If you can no longer come, please let us know at hello@pinm.ie so we can offer your place to someone else.

Taking part in the 3Rs survey is voluntary and anonymous. Our privacy notice explains how survey answers are kept.

Please do not misuse pinm.ie. This includes trying to break into it, sending spam through its forms, or copying large parts of it without permission. The words, images and design of pinm.ie belong to PINM or are used with permission.

We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or always online. The information on it is general information. It is not clinical, legal or professional advice.

We may end a membership if a member gives false details, misuses the website or seriously breaks these terms. If we do, we will tell you why by email and refund any part of a paid period you have not used.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, or our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have expected when you joined.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change affects members, we will email you before it applies.

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If there is a dispute, the courts of Ireland can hear it. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also rely on the consumer law and the courts of your own country.
